Spear Studies

Four polearm designs on one page. Top: a spear with angular wing attachments at the head. Middle: a clean lance with a diamond detail and trailing ribbon streamers. Lower: a heavily ornamented polearm with an elaborate crossguard and decorative endcap. Bottom: a bladed polearm with an axe-style head. Pencil. I was clearly going through a Kain Highwind phase and not pretending otherwise. Each one is a different answer to the same question: how do you make a stick with a sharp end interesting?
