Wolf in Snow

A white wolf walking through snowfall at night, carrying a red pack on its back. Watercolour wash for the sky and ground — the darkness built up in layers — ink for the linework and the wolf's form. The only piece in this book with actual colour, which makes the red pack feel like it earns its place. Drew the piece slightly tilted on the page; that was accidental at the time but I kept it. Going somewhere important, in no particular hurry.
